* They want to make much more money than they currently earn
* They want to spend more time with their family instead of working away from home
* They want to live in the house of their dreams
* They want to stop worrying about making ends meet
* They want their kids to get a world class education
Whatever the reason for starting an Internet business, everyone has the same bottom line. Their dreams all depend on earning enough money to make them a reality. The trick is to earn as much money as you want or need. The best way to do exactly that is by making residual income.
If you are currently working outside the home for someone else, you are most likely earning a linear income. What does that mean? You work a certain number of hours for your employer and the employer pays you accordingly. If you earn hourly wages, your paycheck directly reflects the number of hours you have worked. If you are a salaried employee, you are paid a set amount for each pay period. Linear income is okay, but it is a single payment for a set of hours worked. If you can't fulfill your time obligation, your paycheck will be less as a result.
Since there are only so many hours in a week, you already know you are limited in how much you can earn with a linear income job. That's why you need to know all about residual income and what that can do for your bottom line.
In the simplest terms residual income is getting paid over and over for a job you do once. Suppose you write a book. You only need to write the book once, but you can earn residual income over and over in the form of royalties. Each time someone buys your book you get paid again. Same book, different paycheck.
But you're not an author, so what does that have to do with you and your Internet business? The same principle that applies to the author can apply to your online business. You can make residual income doing what you want to do. Once you know the steps involved, it turns out to be fairly easy. The easiest way to start is to set up your own network marketing business.
Setting up your own network marketing business is not rocket science. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. There are any number of marketing businesses out there that will be more than happy to help you get started. Basically once you sign on as affiliate, your host company will immediately set up your own personal website. By following their instructions exactly it is possible to start earning a residual income with your first sale.
But what are you selling? You don't have to have a product in mind in order to make residual income. If you do have a product in mind, that is great. That probably means you know a lot about the product and are enthusiastic about it. That always helps sales. But really any product or products can work just as well.
Here is a tip to guide you when you are deciding on your product line: Sell something that people need to purchase over and over. For example you could sell photo printers. The downside of that product is that generally people won't be buying more than one printer. But how many ink cartridges will they buy over time? Or how much photo paper will they buy? Selling a printer is not bad, but selling printer supplies is what brings your customers back over and over.
The company you work with will supply you with the products, websites and marketing techniques. However, do not let anyone tell you that you can reach your goal without putting in some hard work. That is just not going to happen. But once you have put in the time and effort, you can start realizing pretty amazing results. Your residual income will continue to grow. Once that happens you have left linear income in the dust. Your system is in place and you have done everything required to make residual income. You don't have to rebuild the system for every sale. Making residual income is the key to growing your bank account.
